Not Impressed So Far.
This is my first snow blower. Went together easy enough - but starting it seems a mystery. I got it to start twice so far, after ALOT of pulling. Tried later that day - and nothing. I opened the choke and primed it 5-7 times like they said - nothing.

Told my wife - I will shovel the drive and be done before this thing starts. It's the craftsman model # 247.116830. Unless someone can help me out - it is going back to the store this weekend.

Works Great
Pennsylvania winters! I have had it for three years, and I have had no problems. Follow the maintenance schedule. Works great.
Pros: Easy To Use

Poor Quality Don't Bother With This Model
The rubber auger is fastened with sheet metal screws! No lock nuts! The screws fall out after 1 hour of run time. Bad design. Sears and MTD should be ashamed of this blunder.
Pros: Price
Cons: Low Quality, Unreliable, Durability

Better Than Expected....
So like many people my snow blower broke in the middle of a winter storm. Came across this little guy and appealed to me because I'm a girl and I thought it was cute. I needed something not too heavy for me to use on my own.

This is what this little thing can do. For one its light to carry. Has an electric start. Whatever that means. You manually has to stear the shoot( you get used to it) and you have to push the thing. Which can be a good and a bad thing.

I had about 12 inches of snow... more

Not Well Made
Paddles hit the frame while it was running so I took it back.
