Haven't Been Able To Use It Yet
Opened up the box and found oil everywhere, the pouch of oil included had exploded inside. Went and picked up some fresh oil from the hardware store and continued to assemble, and found that the threads on the wand were crushed. I went back to the hardware store and picked up some files.

After I completed the assembly (which was pretty simple) I filled up the gas tank, and realized gas was pouring out of the bottom of the tank. The hose going into the carb was pulled out. At this point... more

Eric,
We work with the folks at FedEX and our vendors to use packaging that allows the pressure washer to arrive intact and oil-free... I'm so sorry it didn't work in your case.

We will contact you directly to see how best we can help you. We appreciate your business, and apologize for the inconvenience!

Scott,
The engine and the pump are directly connected, so if there's air trapped in the pump (vapor lock) it will prevent the engine from turning over.

Try hooking up the water and, every time before you try to start the unit, squeezing the trigger to let the water run through the spray gun for a minute or two, then try to start the engine. It should be a lot easier.

Please make sure you are using fresh (less than a month old) gas, too. Old gas loses a lot of the vapors that help it ignite easily, making an engine harder to start.

If neither of these tips help, you can give the folks at Briggs & Stratton a call at (800) 743-4115 to see if your unit needs to be repaired under their Factory Warranty. Please have the serial number of your unit handy when you call them.
