Junk 2 Times Over
On my second unit. Thought the first one quit running based upon something I had done so purchased the second. Second unit stopped running in about two years just like first. Both units were not used for one yard once a week for growing season. Do not buy this junk. Send the extra and get a different brand. Poulan service really cares less about you calling. The voice message should be shortened to you are screwed.

Sore Shoulder, Won't Start
Junk, Junk and more junk. Started off good the first couple of times I used and then became progressively harder to start until I have finally resorted back to the good old electric that start at the flip of a switch. Whoever designed this blower should have to go to and try to start some of these unit that have been purchased!

Full refund should be in order for all the unlucky people that have purchased these units, never again will I purchase a WEED EATER or Poulan product.

Finally Giving Up
Had this model for about 3 years, used regularly but not overused. Worked ok at first but after 2nd year increasingly difficult to start. Changed fuel filter, change and refreshed gas more than once, air filter kept clean, spark plug gapped then changed. Even disassembled carb to check for loose joints, dirt, etc - no go. Now won't start at all for no apparent reason. Shoulder shot from multiple pulls. Good riddance!

Gas Blower Lasted Only One Year
I purchased this blower 1 year ago and it quit working. I paid $99 dollars for this at a Big Box store.

I got exactly what I paid for.

A few people at Poulan should get fired over this piece of junk.

Won't Start & Even Worse- It's Brand New
I have exchanged this product at the store 3 times. This time I took it out of the box, followed the directions to a "T", and it doesn't start.

I'm surprised there is no recall on this product. Terrible!!

I will never purchase a Poulan product again.

It Blows, If Ya Can Keep It Running
I bought the Poulan blower Vac last year, and almost immediately had trouble. It started hard, then would bog down, needing partial choke to stay alive...

A local shop adjusted the carb and it ran fair, but gurgled, then it wouldn't start. Today I fought with it for 3 hours to do an hour's work, then wrapped it around a tree in the yard and went and bought a 28CC Husqvarna that is lighter, quieter, started on the first pull and runs fine so far.

Save yourself the hassle, pony up the... more

Tom
I have had this blower for about 18 months, and ran it about 30 - 45 minutes a week.

It started to lose power and knock, and was hard to start. When I took it apart, I found the ring was seized to the piston.

By the way - I have several other 2-cycle devices using the same gas and they are all fine.

Others Issues
I wonder if the people writing the bad reviews with hard starting have ever used no-oxy (oxygenated) fuel before? You have to use that and a good 2 cycle oil in the small gas engines.

The ethanol in the gas only has a shelf life of 1 month and then it turns to varnish and starts gumming up the super small passages in the carburetor. So if you haven't been using that, switch and put some sea foam in the gas, and you shouldn't have a problem anymore. God bless.

I Got The Good One....
I started mine with just 1 pull and it has been running great for over a year (two hours a week).

I have to give it high marks because "I got the good one"!!!

Does A Great Job- Some Tips On Starting
After a year the piston ring seized in the piston. It was repaired under warranty, and I was told by the tech not to use 40-1 mixture, use 30-1 or richer.

Except for that, it does a great job.

As for starting cold, push prime button 5 times, lever on choke & short pull while holding in trigger. Switch to mid position, hold in trigger and fully pull cord. Run for 30 seconds in that position, then switch to run. Works every time.

Be sure to keep stabilizer in your fuel.
