Jose's Recommendation
This Husqvarna LE475 is very similar to the Ariens Precision Edger -- with three differences.
1. This Husqvarna edger is sturdier with 4 instead of 3 wheels.
2. The blade can only be adjusted by 90 degrees instead of 110.
3. It features a Briggs & Stratton vs. LCT engine
The Husqvarna is significantly more expensive than the Ariens. Both are great quality. However, if you can handle the 3-wheel version, go with the Ariens instead.

The Registration
The Product works very good But I will not buy Husqvarna brand of anything again. It has nothing
to do with Mowers Direct, it is Husqvarna company, they did not except the registration.

Great Edger!
Just an FYI, I have the exact same edger with a 2 HP Briggs motor, branded by Montgomery Wards. My edger is from the late
70's and was a "hand me down" from my parents 10 years ago. Other than regular oil changes, greased up and one new blade, the edger is still going strong. Starts on the first or second pull every time. She isn't the prettiest, but works and runs great.
Don't know who made them for Wards back then, but the Husqvarna didn't change the design at all. If it works why change it! If mine ever quits, I'd definitely get this Husky LE475!

The best investment
I've had this edger for almost 6 months now --- it continues to start on the first pull every time. To say the least, I am very impressed.
It makes an exceptional edge along sidewalks and driveways, and is very easy to handle. I contemplated this purchase for more than a year, mainly due to the price. I finally felt like it was worth getting another piece of equipment made by Husqvarna since all of my other lawn maintenance equipment is also made by Husqvarna.
This is first quality equipment --- I won't even think about another brand.

The Experience could have been better
I purchased the Husqvarna LE475 4-Cycle Wheeled Edger from Mowers Direct. I received the produce with in three days (wow). I removed the edger from the box followed the instructions to assemble, filled with gas started it up, no problem. I stored the edger in my garage so I could use it the next day. Well the wife (next day) said she could smell gas in the garage and I said I smelled gas in the basement last night. After checking all the cars I discovered that the edger was leaking gas from what appeared to be the carburetor bowl. Here I am without my new edger, right out of the box and into the shop for repairs. I feel I just gave the company a five hundred dollar loan because I have product I can't use and just think, this item is American made. The latter is one of the reasons I purchased. I also discovered that the big box store (HD) sells this product on line but for some reason....... posted the item out of stock on line and in store. American manufactures you got to do better its your duty!
