Works Great.... So Far 5 Stars
I have the 212cc version with the viper motor and it starts on the first pull, granted, this is with the first 2 days of use but probably have started it 10 or 12 times with no issues. As far as tilling goes it takes a bit to get use to but after that no problem.
I'd say if I had a bigger garden say 40 by 80 then a larger tiller would be best but or if tilling whole yards for fresh sod. Overall this has been a great tiller and Earthquakes customer service is top notch.

Nightmare
I bought the 6015 model in March. Used it for 10 minutes and gear box went out! Menards won't cover the replacement . Now I have to find a service department just to get it running well enough to sell it! I will never buy an Earthquake product again! The worst piece of junk I've ever bought! By the way, Earthquake won't stand by it either!

Factory Slapped-together Rotojunk
Well let's see...

I'm on the fourth belt in about 12-15 hours of use and today I found the factory-installed bolt that holds the lever that engages the belt is stripped out--I think I see why this enginEERing wonder eats belts. Equally impressive was the factory cross-threaded spark plug, that took me FOREVER to get back in correctly after doing my pre-use spring inspection for its 2nd season! (I didn't bother trying to till again last year once the garden was in--I was so disappointed with... more

Try To Till
I bought earthquake tiller and tried to till my garden which was already broke up from last year. Tilled about a 8 foot by 50 foot area and started locking up. Pulled out the dipstick for transfer case and it looked like a twisted pretzel. Called store where I bought it and told me I would have to take it to shop because I put gas in it. How are you going to use it with out gas. Service shop said it could take up to 2 weeks to get it fixed if they can get parts. They said it could take up to 3... more

This Rear Counter Tine Tiller Is An Earth Eater With Power That
Hello, I have been looking for a rear tiller since spring and have just about purchased every one that was priced over eight hundred dollars. But I always wanted to make the right decision and get the one tiller that would work best in tough hardened clay soil. I think I looked at most in the market and they all sounded great and everyone had good stories and some even had terrible stories about their tillers they had purchased. I also checked Craig's List and some sounded good their also,... more

Loser
I have had this tiller for less than a year.
It was delivered with the gas line disconnected so my first experience was a boot soaked with gas as I tried to fill it.
On the first use, the valve broke off one tire tube they sent new wheels.
On the second use, the valve broke off the other original tire.
The machine is not built for tilling. It doesn't break ground well and, if the soil is at all wet and clay bearing, the soil will collect ahead of the tines and stop the machine. You get... more

Earthquake Tiller
Bought one last summer. Transmission stripped after 2 hours of use. Was at repair shop for 6 weeks. Picked up and went to finish garden. Belt tore off in less than an hour. Replaced belt and was able to finish garden. Now fall and wanted to till up before snow and can not get to run past idle.

Good But...
I have a couple Earthquake products and they are all of good quality and function well. The problem I have is EVERY Earthquake product I have leaks oil from the moment you put oil in the crankcase. My new tiller is no different. Based on a couple years of use of my other Earthquake products, I would rate the product high but with the oil leak issue I'd be forced to drop the rating. If you store a tiller, lawn edger, etc in your garage, put down a drip pan, cardboard or something as it WILL leak... more
