  10 Questions
Q: Will this plow fit a 2015 xt 2 series?
by Dave from Pennsylvania on August 02, 2015

A: Dave - the OEM-190-833 snow plow blade will not fit the 2015 XT1 and XT2 series tractors. You would need the Cub Cadet 19A30017OEM snow plow blade for the XT1 and XT2 series tractors: snow plow blade
by Robert, Product Expert

Q: Will this plow work with Cub Cadet Zero Turn RZT mower? will there need to be modifications to the mower to use it?

Thx

by Mike from Utah on November 13, 2014

A: Mike - the OEM-190-833 snow plow blade can not be modified to fit up to a zero turn mower. This plow blade is designed strictly for a tractor chassis.
by Robert, Product Expert

Q: I have a new LTX 1045 I believe this will fit and I understand about moving the blade right or left, but what raises and lowers the blade.

John

by John P Glenzinski from New Mexico on August 20, 2014

A: John - The lift handle, located on the left side of the snow blade, is used to raise and lower the blade. Pulling the lift handle all the way back raises the snow blade. Move the lift handle forward to lower the snow blade to the ground. If you go into the "specs" tab for this item, you can view the owner's manual. Full operating instructions begin on page 7. And yes, this plow blade will fit up to a Cub Cadet LTX1045.
by Robert, Product Expert

Q: Hi Jose, Do you have to take off the mower deck to put this on a Cub cadet? Looking at the picture and the mounting bracket it is hard to tell. Thanks
by Darwin Ahrendt from South Dakota on November 25, 2013

A: Darwin - yes, you would need to remove the mower deck from your tractor in order to properly install the OEM-190-833 plow blade on your tractor.
by Robert, Product Expert

Q: Is this for snow only or would it work for moving dirt?
by Dick from North Carolina on October 07, 2013

A: Dick - the Cub Cadet OEM-190-833 is NOT designed for earth moving. This is strictly a snow plow blade. Trying to move earth or dirt may cause damage to both the plow blade and the frame of your tractor.
by Robert, Product Expert

Q: Can the blade be angled from the driver's seat?
by Jack from Illinois on October 01, 2013

A: This blade would not be able to be angled from the driver's seat, it is only going to adjust via the angle adjustment located behind the blade itself.
by Robert, Product Expert

Q: Will this fit my 1000 series Cub? I have a 1042.
by Sam from Ohio on August 28, 2013

A: Yes, these blades will fit a 1000 series Cub Cadet. They will not however fit any of the 2000 series units, this would be a different plow all together.
by Robert, Product Expert

Q: Will this fit a 2008 Cub Cadet Gt 2550 Garden tractor?
by Jon Franklin from Tennessee on October 12, 2011

A: Jon

Unfortunately no. It is only meant for Toro or MTD models.
by Robert, Product Expert

Q: WILL OEM 190-833 FIT MTD GOLD MODEL 13AX915T004 ?
by BRIAN MOSHER from Michigan on April 14, 2011

A: Yes, this blade should not have a problem fitting on to your MTD Gold tractor.

Thanks,

Q: Will this fit on a pollun pro tractor?
by Jimmy from Pennsylvania on March 28, 2011

A: The mount is not going to fit, you would have to do some fabricating. This blade was designed to fit MTD and Toro brand tractors and would not be meant for Poulan or other brands unless MTD manufactured the product.

Thanks,

Great Product
This was an excellent buy, especially since this winter produced so much snow. My husband clears 4 driveways (ours and neighbors) in around an hour.
Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Reliable

46 Inch Snow Blade Good For All Seasons
I bought the 46 inch blade for my 1050 Cub Cadet. we live in the country and have a tort asphalt mix driveway. This blade has become one of the greatest tools in my tool shed. I use it to smooth off my drive way. It's great for moving medium size stones and small brush piled.

My 1050 has become a light bulldozer and I'm loving it. The blade is holding up great and a snap to operate. I only wish they had made the angle adjustment so you could change it from the tractor seat. I am 73 years... more

Installed In About 30 Minutes
This is the same blade (0EM-190-833) used on Cub Cadets.

It went together fairly easily and installed in about 30 minutes, including removing the front bumper and the mower deck.

Plow Exceeds Expectations
I bought this snow blade for my Cub Cadet LGT 1050. The blade assembly fit the tractor perfectly and is easy to attach and detach.

Assembly out of the box took about 20 minutes. The blade assembly is VERY well made and a good design. It is a heavy duty unit and should last for years.

The lever to raise and lower the blade operates easily from the seat and the blade has three positions (straight ahead or angled left or right) to allow snow to be pushed to whichever side you need. The... more

Oem-190-833 Blade
Blade is light weight and easy to install. Used it on a six inch snowfall with rear tire weights and chains and never spun a wheel. Only drawback is that you can't angle the blade from the drivers seat. They should offer an option to make this possible. If they did I would rate it at five stars.
Pros: Durable, Light Weight, High Quality, Easy To Store
Cons: Can't Angle Blade From Tractor Seat

Decent Blade
I'm happy with this purchase. I do think that they could have made the assembly a bit easier, but it wasn't horrible. Seems very sturdy but I will find out here soon when snow starts flying.
Pros: Durable, Price, I'd Buy It Again

Installed On Cub Cadet Sltx1054 Vt
Easy install! Approximately 30 minutes box to install if you don't have to lower the front attachment plate.

Unfortunately for me, I had to lower the Front Attachment assembly after removing my 54 inch cutting deck. If you are a student of the wrench, you can easily see how to lower the top attachment assembly-plate by removing 4 - 916 in. lag bolts.

The manual's Adjustments section does not cover Adjustments to the Front attachment assembly. Overall, I recommend this product.

Follow Up
I wrote a review previously and I was able to put this blade to use. It worked great on light snow up to 3 inches deep. Once we got 8-10 with drifts up to 16 inches the blade was ok, but my tractor just couldn't keep enough traction. No fault of the blade, I do have chains for my tractor and they gave me a bit more traction but I wasn't able to push the snow everywhere I wanted like when it was lighter.

This is by far one of the best toys I have bought. With all the snow we have had in the Northeast this snow blade has been a valuable piece of equipment added to my collection. I would recommend this to anyone looking to to purchases snow blade easy to use and assemble. Also, easy to store remove one pin and its disconnected. A+ rating.
